Maruti's star car A-STAR has drived into the market. It styles and looks are awesome with cool headlights. A-Stars profile is fundamentally different from Alto. The shape is similiar to that of Hyundai's I-10. It feels light to drive, well weighted brakes with good stopping power. Three-cylinder motor, 998cc and power of 67 bhp at 6200 rpm gives well-earned smoothness of motor with low noise. It takes 13.7 seconds to accelerate to 100kph from rest and this is quiker than i10. A-Star is priced comparitively between 3.5 lakhto 4.5 lakh. With light electric steering, responsive engine and weedy grip its ideally suited for urban conditions. A-Star has everything to become the next big small car.
